We asked the author of Embroidery Machine Essentials for what tool she considered the most "essential" and she immediately said "Curved Embroidery Scissors".  We tested several brands and we unanimously agreed that these Fiskars were our favorite.  Holes are generously sized, they are lightweight and we cut the threads more closely than with straight scissors.  You'll wonder how you lived without them!
