Fur Lined Boots E-Pattern
by Precious Patterns

These boots are soft and sweet! They keep their shape very well. They can be made with elastic around the ankle (brown shoes) or with ribbon that ties in the front (lavender shoes). The ends of the ribbon are stitched at the center back seam so they won’t fall out of the boots. You can fold the boot tops over to make low top boots with fur cuffs.

They are so easy to make - even for beginners! The top of the boot is two pieces. Craft fur is used for the lining of the sample boots (wool felt, acrylic felt or terry cloth can also be used). Ultra suede fabric (brown boots) and cotton fabric (lavender boots) were used for the outside of the sample boots. The craft fur lining is fused to the fabric. Then the top and sole shapes are cut out and stitched. Single fold bias tape is sewn around the tops of the boots and around the ankles for the elastic or ribbon casing. Instructions are given to make your own tape if you prefer not to purchase bias tape.
