Miranda reminds of a delicious little petit four you might find at a specialty bake shop. With ribbons of icing and delicate little hand piped flowers with those tiny little edible pearls. I cannot tell you how much fun it is to make this dress. Miranda features a beautiful neckline, a low cut back and a very full skirt. This dress has a full attached sash and bands of fabric insets in the skirt along with all of the instructions for making all the sweet little embellishments. For the embellishments, you will need 2 small buttons for the back of the dress, scraps of fabrics for the yo-yo flowers, buttons for the centers of the flowers, 5 yds of green rick rack for the vines, 1 skein of green embroidery floss for the decorative stitching on the vine, various colors of medium rick rack for the rick rack flowers, little pearl beads for the centers of the flowers, and 1/4" bias tape for making the leaves. Pattern is for sizes 2-8; see additional images for fabric requirements. Every size needs 1 1/2 yds of crinoline, plus 4 yards of coordinating tulle and lace for trimming the crinoline if you choose. Do not be scared off by the embellishments! This spectacular dress pattern is designed with every sewer in mind. If you are new to sewing or a seasoned pro you will find this pattern fun and easy to put together, and this dress is well worth the time needed for the embellishments!
