The cute critter hair accessories and headband are so sweet and easy to make! Instructions are included to make five different cute critters (gingerbread man, snowman, penguin, pumpkin & kitty) and a 1 1/2” wide fabric headband (this is the same as the narrow headband in our “Headband & Flower” and “Flowers, Leaf & Narrow Headband” patterns). The critters are 3 1/2” wide by 1 3/4” to 2 1/4” tall.
The fabric headband will fit girls of all ages. The headband can be worn with or without the critters – it’s reversible if the critters are not attached. The critters can also be attached to purchased headbands - see individual photo of kitty on a purchased headband.
Sample headbands are made from cotton fabrics for every day. Use silk, satin, taffeta, etc. to make them for special occasions. Sample critters are made from fleece – this is the best fabric to use for the critters so they will be soft and pliable.
