My First Scarf & Mittens E-Pattern
by Lilac Lane

The Learning to Sew series of patterns by Lilac Lane assumes only the most basic of sewing skills: turning on the machine and cutting out the pattern. Even instructions for cutting are included. These patterns were tested by girls ranging in age from 7 to 12. They are ideal for children or adults as a very first sewing project.

Warm up with a matching set of scarf and mittens! This pattern contains instructions for a very first sewing project. Mittens sized for child/youth and adult. Finished scarf length is 7” x 59”. An optional snowflake embroidery is included. Or embellish with special stitches, buttons, or ric rac. Also included is one “Handmade with Love” sew-in label.
